But to his dismay, Inocencio Bingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Acácio Cunha put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Pocochi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaguars Veracruz:s goal. Tomas Lordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Artaldo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pocochi FC booed when Jaguars Veracruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Jaguars Veracruz's Pablo Acevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Lordi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Chano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Norberto Guifre suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Guaberto Erasto fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocochi FC's protests and gave Guaberto Erasto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pocochi FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guaberto Erasto hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Pocochi FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Edur. In the 66th minute, Nicolas Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaguars Veracruz's Pablo Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tomás Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Eklund in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Jaguars Veracruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Although Jaguars Veracruz had been in control for most of the match, Pocochi FC still came away with the win.
