In the 14thth minute of the game Orlando Shantala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santamarina AFC's Fabian Kauldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Teofilo Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the game, Domingos Emeterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santamarina AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaquis FC the free kick. Yaquis FC's Teofilo Galindo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Alejo Pabla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santamarina AFC and the Yaquis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Alejo Pabla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Shantala scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Kauldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Orlando Shantala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Kauldi. Santamarina AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Shantala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Santamarina AFC's Fabian Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Galindo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Yaquis FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Jerrold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Santamarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Yaquis FC's Orlando Shantala shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Kauldi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yaquis FC reached it. Orlando Shantala had several of the Santamarina AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Fabian Kauldi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Orlando Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Shantala in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Kauldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th match minute, Santamarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Pabla to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 79 in the game by Orlando Shantala from a close distance when the talented Fabian Kauldi managed to make a qualified save. Santamarina AFC's players were relieved. After 87 played minutes Santamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Emeterio. In the 89th match minute, Santamarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Artizar to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Yaquis FC's Orlando Shantala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Kauldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Orlando Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th match minute, Santamarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Jon to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Yaquis FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santamarina AFC.
