In the 30th match minute, Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Mingo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Gomesano in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Godoy saved Celta de Vigo from getting behind. Maximo Gomesano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cosme Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After taking down the ball on CF JABATOS's corner Maximo Gomesano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cosme Godoy quite easily take care of the ball. Maximo Gomesano might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Godoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Gomesano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59th play minutes Maximo Gomesano shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Cosme Godoy and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 63rd minute, Celta de Vigo's Niceto Dunixi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Niceto Dunixi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Celta de Vigo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niceto Dunixi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 64th match minute, Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Dunixi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Gomesano got free with Cosme Godoy in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CF JABATOS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
