Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Yaquis FC's Orlando Shantala started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fidel Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Erdiano in the 6th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Jaguars Veracruz's 曹森伟 threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Acevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute, Cosme Guifre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Orlando Shantala notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jaguars Veracruz's Fidel Txurio. Fidel Txurio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidel Txurio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Yaquis FC's Orlando Shantala. But to his dismay, Orlando Shantala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Orlando Shantala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Txurio having to make a save. Fidel Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Shantala in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Hodei got free with 曹森伟 in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Orlando Shantala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Pablo Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but 曹森伟 made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Chano made a kick off. Fidel Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute, Pablo Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Erdiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Fidel Txurio made a huge save. After 58 minutes, Delmar Artaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaguars Veracruz and the Yaquis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Jaguars Veracruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Shantala in the 63rd minute. Fidel Txurio made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cosme Guifre sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Orlando Shantala dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fidel Txurio, 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Shantala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fidel Txurio. That made the score 2-7 in the 81 minute of play. If Cosme Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Jaguars Veracruz's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Sauveur came free, but Fidel Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Jaguars Veracruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Hodei to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Shantala scored 2-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Txurio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Guifre in the 91st minute. The Jaguars Veracruz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yaquis FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
