After some careless play in the Escorpius FC defense, Delmar Artaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Dolfos. The Escorpius FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Dolfos should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute Leonel Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Dolfos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Artaldo in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Escorpius FC's Yu Chong Guang got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Delmar Artaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaguars Veracruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sun Yuan Qian got free with Fidel Txurio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Acevedo in the 33rd minute of play forced Escorpius FC's goalkeeper Nestor Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Pablo Acevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escorpius FC's Nestor Dolfos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Jaguars Veracruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Severo Ceandro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fidel Txurio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Escorpius FC were furious when Yu Chong Guang was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Escorpius FC! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Chano was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Escorpius FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Hodei came free, but Nestor Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Pablo Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaguars Veracruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Hodei in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Escorpius FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Fidele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Tano in the 86th minute of play forced Jaguars Veracruz's goalkeeper Fidel Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Leonel Hodei made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Dolfos. Escorpius FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Nestor Dolfos made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tomás Chano sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Albert Tano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When the match was over Jaguars Veracruz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Escorpius FC throughout the match.
