Spectators: 7558 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 100) América's Vojtěch Lidman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Attilio Ferrini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yasen Chovanski went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Placido Raymundo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of América booed when AMG Petronas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Ferrini having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Silvano Odon took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ciro Santo to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute Yasen Chovanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Ferrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Vojtěch Lidman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attilio Ferrini. AMG Petronas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vojtěch Lidman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, América's Placido Raymundo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Attilio Ferrini came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by América's Yasen Chovanski. But to his dismay, Yasen Chovanski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When América's Yasen Chovanski in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AMG Petronas FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Mouricio in the 40th minute of play forced América's goalkeeper Ciro Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

América's Ciro Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Mouricio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Genaro Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vojtěch Lidman in the 56th minute of play forced AMG Petronas FC's goalkeeper Attilio Ferrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, AMG Petronas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Ur to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Matúš Vranka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Mouricio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Marcos Hitz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, AMG Petronas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Ur to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Genaro Valery cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Attilio Ferrini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77thth minute of the game Yasen Chovanski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AMG Petronas FC's Attilio Ferrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. América's Ciro Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Mouricio in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gogo Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. AMG Petronas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Santo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Placido Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. América's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
