Grullork FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobías Astorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Rodrigo Rojas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grullork FC's Baybars Tanbolat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baybars Tanbolat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobías Astorga in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Rojas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Grullork FC's Baybars Tanbolat. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baybars Tanbolat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Rodrigo Rojas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jimeno Artal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Nuevo Laredo had won after a very even match.
