Omar Lope hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Elias Gabrio with Jonas de Toledo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Victor Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Galindo having to interfere. In the 14th minute Victor Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Galindo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by City Club's Jonas de Toledo. But to his dismay, Jonas de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Du Zhen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Lope in the 18th minute. Victor Ondino struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Guillermo Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for City Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Dino in the 25th minute of play forced City Club's goalkeeper Du Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du Zhen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas de Toledo scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Galindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillermo Galindo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by City Club's Victor Ondino. But to his dismay, Victor Ondino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jonas de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Martin Gonsalvo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Du Zhen. Martin Gonsalvo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Omar Lope made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to City Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jonas de Toledo hit a great ball. When Victor Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the City Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Ondino couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Matt Murdock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Lope in the 66th minute of play forced City Club's goalkeeper Du Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guadalajara's Raimundo Dino got a free kick in the 69th minute. Guillermo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas de Toledo in the 70th minute of play. Du Zhen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Dino, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute Victor Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, City Club's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gonsalvo came free, but Du Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Ondino in the 87th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched City Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
