When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Jairo Rufo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gianluigi Ogazon to make any attempt to save it. With 7 minutes on the clock, Aldebaran Tauro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Darkness:s Gianluigi Ogazon showed great skill when he stopped Zeledon Dominic:s penalty. A collision led to Halcones de Mérida getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Erubiel Jaunzuria hit a great ball. Salvador Orlan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Halcones de Mérida booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Ogazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Abancens in the 22nd minute of play. Gianluigi Ogazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jairo Rufo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Ogazon having to interfere. Saturnino Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Errapel in the 33rd minute of the match. Jairo Rufo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gianluigi Ogazon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halcones de Mérida. After 42 played minutes Halcones de Mérida got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Turi. In the 46th minute, Jairo Nastasio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Halcones de Mérida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jairo Rufo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Halcones de Mérida booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Abancens's late challenge caught a Darkness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Abancens helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Abancens hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Abancens in the 56th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Gianluigi Ogazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Dominguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Etor in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Halcones de Mérida's Adrian Turi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gianluigi Ogazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Abancens in the 69th minute of play. Marcial Errapel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 71st playminute. The supporters of Halcones de Mérida booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Ogazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Rufo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianluigi Ogazon came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Halcones de Mérida's Ceferino Abancens. But to his dismay, Ceferino Abancens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Halcones de Mérida's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
