Mikkel Wulff spun around in front of the goal 12 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Santos Błeszno's goal. Tymoteusz Ikalewicz got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filip Marut. Olaf Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Santos Błeszno defense, Mikkel Wulff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Oleszak. The Santos Błeszno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Oleszak should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Santos Błeszno's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Olaf Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Oleszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbigniew Banach was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ignacy Jakisz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacy Jakisz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Tymoteusz Ikalewicz with Julian Koczara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kryspin Badanowski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Bertram Svenningsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Oleszak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Bertram Svenningsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Olaf Oleszak made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Jakisz in the 68th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kryspin Badanowski, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Olaf Oleszak was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Mikkel Wulff capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mikkel Wulff really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Olaf Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Oleszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 84th minute of the match. Sebastian Niedziela hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Olaf Oleszak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Santos Błeszno defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Oleszak. The Santos Błeszno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Oleszak should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olaf Oleszak. Olaf Oleszak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
