In the 13th minute, Nemesio Cuarto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Realsamesta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pedro Mendiko's late challenge caught a REALSAMESTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Mendiko helped the player get up and apologised. If Nemesio Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Anselmo Tonio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Realsamesta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Realsamesta's Nemesio Cuarto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Realsamesta's zone, Silvestre Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Petersson came out of the goal and Silvestre Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Modestio lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 45 played minutes REALSAMESTA got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Modestio. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Tonio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Realsamesta got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Jerold. Bertil Sandberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Pablo Presebal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hugo Jerold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Presebal having to interfere. Pablo Presebal came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Realsamesta's Nemesio Cuarto. But to his dismay, Nemesio Cuarto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Realsamesta's Pedro Mendiko got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a little luck, REALSAMESTA's Pablo Presebal got control of the ball when Anselmo Tonio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 played minutes REALSAMESTA got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Urki. Pablo Presebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 89th match minute, REALSAMESTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Barros to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 92 in the game by Anselmo Tonio from a close distance when the talented Pablo Presebal managed to make a qualified save. REALSAMESTA's players were relieved. After having played for 95 minutes, Nemesio Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Realsamesta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, REALSAMESTA's Pablo Presebal got control of the ball when Anselmo Tonio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Realsamesta played a much better game than REALSAMESTA and deserved their victory. The REALSAMESTA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
