Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teofilo Quilo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Elvio Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Remigio Onbera came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Zé Paulo Hermes. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Zé Paulo Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Onbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Celedonio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Celedonio Abajas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, Celedonio Abajas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Onbera. Zonet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tomás Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Onbera having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Gaston Benino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Onbera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Quilo in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Tomás Madaleno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zonet the free kick. A collision led to FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tomás Madaleno hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Tomás Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Zé Paulo Hermes took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Remigio Onbera to make any attempt to save it. Zé Paulo Hermes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 54th playminute. Celedonio Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Zonet's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zé Paulo Hermes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 71 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Remigio Onbera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Celedonio Abajas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remigio Onbera. Remigio Onbera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. In the 80th minute, Gaston Benino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Onbera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Zé Paulo Hermes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. 88 minutes into the match, Zonet's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Madaleno came free, but Remigio Onbera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Zé Paulo Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Onbera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zonet's Remigio Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Hermes in the 96th minute of play.
