Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teofilo Quilo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Nunez Pabla came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Zonet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Pabla couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Urdin in the 8th minute of the match. Cecilio Fernado charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Fernado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carranza getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ruy Neves hit a great ball. Desiderio Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Urdin in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Adrian Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Fresco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Teofilo Quilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Peyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Elvio Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Quilo in the 29th minute of play. Desiderio Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Zonet getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Efrain Balesio hit a great ball. When Elvio Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Zonet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Urdin couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Carranza defense, Teofilo Quilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Peyo. The Carranza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Peyo should have stopped the shot. In the 40th match minute, Zonet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Cheche to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zonet's Gavino Cheche got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Zonet's Teofilo Quilo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Peyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Zonet were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruy Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ruy Neves notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Zonet's Remigio Onbera. Remigio Onbera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vinicio Txurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Peyo having to interfere. Nunez Pabla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Isidoro Eneko came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Zonet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Eneko couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Carranza's goalkeeper Desiderio Peyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Eneko. Leonel Txilar charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Txilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zonet getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leonel Txilar hit a great ball. After 82 minutes of play, Zonet's Elvio Urdin made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Peyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Efrain Balesio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Argi during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carranza getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Romeo Argi hit a great ball. Carranza's Desiderio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Quilo in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Zonet's Teofilo Quilo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7.
