The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Urdin got free with Andy Petersson in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlinhos Breckenfeld scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Onbera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Realsamesta booed when Zonet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Cuarto struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Remigio Onbera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Realsamesta. Remigio Onbera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Realsamesta's Andy Petersson got control of the ball when Elvio Urdin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teofilo Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Andy Petersson made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Realsamesta's Silverio Jacob got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Zonet getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Efrain Balesio hit a great ball. Nemesio Cuarto might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Onbera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Cuarto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Teofilo Quilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Quilo in the 42nd minute of play forced Realsamesta's goalkeeper Andy Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Txurio in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Realsamesta got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Turdeanu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Carlinhos Breckenfeld made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Turdeanu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Realsamesta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Realsamesta:s Andy Petersson showed great skill when he stopped Teofilo Quilo:s penalty. Andy Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isidoro Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Hugo Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Realsamesta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Jerold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes Zonet got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Eneko. Carlinhos Breckenfeld received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remigio Onbera came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlinhos Breckenfeld slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carlinhos Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Realsamesta's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Onbera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Realsamesta's Carlinhos Breckenfeld dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 88th minute Teofilo Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Zonet got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Txurio. Elvio Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Andy Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Realsamesta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
