The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gatitos del infierno's goalie and right to Nicanor Peli. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gatitos del infierno's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gatitos del infierno's zone, Nemesio Cuarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Gonza came out of the goal and Nemesio Cuarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Nemesio Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Luis Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gatitos del infierno's Segundo Gonza got control of the ball when Carlinhos Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlinhos Breckenfeld to make the kick off. Nemesio Cuarto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Luis Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gatitos del infierno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Realsamesta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gatitos del infierno's Luis Perez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nemesio Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Segundo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Realsamesta's Hugo Jerold got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Realsamesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Kowalczyk to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Andy Petersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hugo Jerold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes Realsamesta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herminio Alonso who took care of the corner kick. Gatitos del infierno's Herminio Alonso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andy Petersson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nemesio Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Gonza having to interfere. Segundo Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Cuarto in the 73rd minute of the match. Nemesio Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Petersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Evis in the 79th minute. Segundo Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Cuarto went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes, Hugo Jerold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Realsamesta and the Gatitos del infierno players grew even worse after the yellow card.
