FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REALSAMESTA the free kick. The supporters of REALSAMESTA booed when FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Galeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Paulo Hermes to make the kick off. Pablo Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Hermes in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Madaleno in the 77th minute of play forced REALSAMESTA's goalkeeper Pablo Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, REALSAMESTA's Silvestre Rumaldo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Maximiliano Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Presebal having to interfere. A collision led to REALSAMESTA getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aquiles Barros hit a great ball. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Maximiliano Shepherd was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match was over FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than REALSAMESTA throughout the match.
