The audience was convinced that Silvestre Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Peyo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Tarcisio Mello came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Carranza fans jumped to their feet. With a little luck, REALSAMESTA's Pablo Presebal got control of the ball when Ruy Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Presebal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Erasmo Erroman. Ruy Neves took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Presebal. Pablo Presebal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 50th match minute, Carranza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Argi to maneuver through the defense. If Silvestre Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carranza's zone, Silvestre Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Peyo came out of the goal and Silvestre Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Mello in the 65th minute of the match. Rodolfo Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Presebal having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, REALSAMESTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, REALSAMESTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Barros to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Urki hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Carranza's Tarcisio Mello got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Oscar Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, 巩斌斐 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
