Valentin Miheev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Pierres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Mariano Leocadio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Valentin Miheev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Salvador Pierres, 2-0. After some careless play in the Doblas FC defense, Valentin Miheev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Pierres. The Doblas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Pierres should have stopped the shot.
