Constantino Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Obeko having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Semeno to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Roland Nieruchliwy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salazar AFC's Benjamin Gil got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Constantino Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Obeko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Salazar AFC's Tadeo Xabel got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Constantino Henrico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Obeko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Nieruchliwy in the 22nd minute of play forced Salazar AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Roland Nieruchliwy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Nieruchliwy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Constantino Henrico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Obeko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Salazar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Henrico came free, but Silvestre Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Sergio Enetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salazar AFC and the Cacomixtles de Queretaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogelio Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. If Roland Nieruchliwy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. Gustav Sefastsson replaced Constantino Henrico. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Sefastsson was the one to do the kick off. Silvestre Obeko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustav Sefastsson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Sefastsson in the 56th minute of play forced Salazar AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salazar AFC's Silvestre Obeko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Salazar AFC from getting a goal against them. Hüsnü Hürsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. But to his dismay, Gustav Sefastsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After having played for 88 minutes, Gustav Sefastsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Sefastsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Paddy Attenborough got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
