If Amado Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dragones Tampico's Gaspar Txilar got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Fc Taurus's Blas Azeari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hakkı Demircan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Amado Froylan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Taurus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hakkı Demircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Gabrio in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Fc Taurus got a corner. Dragones Tampico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerardo Gabrio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fc Taurus's Gerardo Gabrio to fire away a dangerous shot which Hakkı Demircan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hakkı Demircan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Dragones Tampico booed when Fc Taurus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes, Marcos Loramendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Taurus and the Dragones Tampico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 minutes of play, Fc Taurus's Gerardo Gabrio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakkı Demircan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Froylan took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hakkı Demircan. Hakkı Demircan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 48th minute, Octavio Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match Santo Mino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Estebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Blas Azeari kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hernani Andrade hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Prospero Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragones Tampico's Hakkı Demircan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Froylan in the 65th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Dragones Tampico's goalkeeper Hakkı Demircan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Azeari. Amado Froylan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Dragones Tampico's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Froylan came free, but Hakkı Demircan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Dragones Tampico got a freekick which was hit by Justino Blasco. In the 82nd minute, Igor Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
