Silvestre Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Mino in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Santo Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Obeko was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Apolo Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Obeko having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Salazar AFC's Benjamin Gil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hakkı Demircan. Hakkı Demircan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Isidoro Efraim's late challenge caught a Salazar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Mino was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Apolo Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragones Tampico's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Obeko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dragones Tampico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Benjamin Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hakkı Demircan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th match minute, Salazar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Enetz to maneuver through the defense. Salazar AFC's Silvestre Obeko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Salazar AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Benjamin Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Demircan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Gil in the 94th minute of play. Salazar AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
