The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Los Muñes de Don Cuco's zone, Manuel Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Estevez came out of the goal and Manuel Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Estevez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Marko went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Blas Estevez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 19th minute, Jacobo Senen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Blas Estevez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Marko in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Jacobo Senen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blas Estevez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute Humberto Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jacobo Senen 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Humberto Lleirs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Blas Estevez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Dromes FC's Fidel Refugio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Blas Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Senen in the 36th minute of play. If Manuel Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's attentive Silvestre Gaztea managed to snatch the ball when Fidel Refugio made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Humberto Lleir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Blas Estevez made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Lleir was the one to do the kick off. Blas Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Millrick in the 53rd minute of play. Blas Estevez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Lleir went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Humberto Lleir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blas Estevez. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Lleir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Silvestre Gaztea's late challenge caught a Dromes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Gaztea helped the player get up and apologised. Silvestre Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Blas Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Millrick in the 68th minute of the match. Jacobo Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Humberto Lleir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dromes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Dromes FC's Amadeo Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Blas Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Lleir in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Humberto Lleir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Estevez was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Amadeo Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Estevez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Lleir in the 96th minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Blas Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dromes FC fully deserved thier win.
