Union Teporochos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Lano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Monarrez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Enaut came free, but Pablo Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Benito Enaut notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Monarrez FC's Pablo Artal. Pablo Artal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the game, Marcelo Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Bernal got free with Felipe Gaitan in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Artal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pablo Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Lano in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Fabio Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. The supporters of Union Teporochos booed when Monarrez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 60th match minute, Union Teporochos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Union Teporochos's Felipe Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Claris in the 63rd minute of play. Domingos Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pablo Artal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Gaufred's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Union Teporochos's Teofilo Gaufred slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pablo Artal. That made the score 1-8 after 69 minutes of play. In the 72nd minute, Union Teporochos's Teofilo Gaufred ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pablo Artal. Pablo Artal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Teofilo Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Artal having to interfere. Pablo Artal made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Benito Enaut sent off a good shot on target. Ubaldo Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Union Teporochos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Theobald to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Union Teporochos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monarrez FC throughout the match.
