Salvadore González might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Pueblo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvadore González ran back to his position shaking his head. Higinio Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvadore González, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when Yucatan F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edinho Lira made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Apolo Opilano sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvadore González in the 11th minute of the match. TZILACATZIN were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Yucatan F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victoriano Distiratsu took the corner. Higinio Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvadore González in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Salvadore González managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TZILACATZIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvadore González was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Higinio Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvadore González in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Salvadore González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Salvadore González who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yucatan F.C.'s Higinio Pueblo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The TZILACATZIN fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 32 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Salvadore González came free, but Higinio Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvadore González in the 33rd minute of play forced Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper Higinio Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Yucatan F.C.'s Abel Lugo got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tião Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Gartzen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Yucatan F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Victor Gartzen hit a great ball. Higinio Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvadore González's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yucatan F.C.! When Salvadore González came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the TZILACATZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvadore González couldn't finish the play. Yucatan F.C.'s Juan Gabriel was substituted for Tião Alcântara. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Loiola in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Lira saved TZILACATZIN from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Benicio Loiola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Lira was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Loiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Higinio Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvadore González in the 82nd minute of play. Edinho Lira came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Yucatan F.C.'s Apolo Opilano. But to his dismay, Apolo Opilano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With 91 minutes on the clock, Gaspar Matro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gaspar Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Yucatan F.C. booed when TZILACATZIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, TZILACATZIN's Fabio Rencio got a free kick in the 97th minute. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Yucatan F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
