Alexandros Ismael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gurbax Gascon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Andy Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Beltran was the one to do the kick off. In the 96th minute Elpidio Jerold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, San Pablo FC could leave the field as winners, despite Águilas Poblanas having more of the ball for most of the match.
