Narciso Galoer took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when Moneyball Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Che to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Ciriaco Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes, Chico Che mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermosillo FC and the Moneyball Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaime Arnau hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Moneyball Academy booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Ekaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni Qi Yuan in the 30th minute of the match. When Ni Qi Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Moneyball Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ni Qi Yuan couldn't finish the play. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esen Sevimli in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Moneyball Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Boni came free, but Turgay Şeren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgay Şeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Boni in the 46th minute of play. Ni Qi Yuan got in the 48th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Samuel Evarado handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Ni Qi Yuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Evarado having to make a save. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado got control of the ball when Ni Qi Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Ekaitz's late challenge caught a Moneyball Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Ekaitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Mauricio Ekaitz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Eloy Su kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Dimas in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, one of Hermosillo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Corderro to maneuver through the defense. Ni Qi Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ni Qi Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ni Qi Yuan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moneyball Academy's Barnaba Ciborek was substituted for Ni Qi Yuan. Hermosillo FC's Alejandro Lope was substituted for Javier Quentin. Moneyball Academy's Alex Enoaia was substituted for Esen Sevimli. During the 78th minute of the match Chico Che completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chico Che a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th minute, Chico Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Barnaba Ciborek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Evarado. The goal made the score 0-4. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Barnaba Ciborek sped through Hermosillo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Evarado. In the 87th match minute, Moneyball Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moreno Veloz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hermosillo FC's zone, Barnaba Ciborek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Evarado came out of the goal and Barnaba Ciborek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Ciborek got free with Samuel Evarado in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eloy Su kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Moneyball Academy's Ulises Dimas got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 99 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Ciborek came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moneyball Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
