Mehmet Arif Evvel kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Geronimo Salomone put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Freddie de Nooijer. Freddie de Nooijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Remigio in the 47th minute of play. The Vampiros Aztecas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing Club were winning 0-4.

Freddie de Nooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Orwel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Elliott Granqvist. The Vampiros Aztecas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Racing Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Racing Club.
