Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Palencia took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Botley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Bautista came free, but Amilcar Umaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Comberton booed when Botley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Asad didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Cortez in the 17th minute of play forced Comberton's goalkeeper Gilberto Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Comberton's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Gamero came free, but Gilberto Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Alexis Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amilcar Umaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alexander Gamero fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botley FC's protests and gave Alexander Gamero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Alexander Gamero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gilberto Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldo Brizuela hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Humberto Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Botley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comberton the free kick. Botley FC's Amilcar Umaña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Botley FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexis Bautista was the one to do the kick off. If Alexis Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Collado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Comberton's Gilberto Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Palencia in the 59th minute of play. Humberto Cortez in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilberto Rivas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mariano Palencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Cortez struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gilberto Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botley FC. Amilcar Umaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Collado in the 65th minute of the match. Efrain Collado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Alexis Bautista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amilcar Umaña came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Comberton's Efrain Collado. But to his dismay, Efrain Collado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alexander Gamero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilberto Rivas firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 84 minutes, Efrain Collado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comberton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Collado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amilcar Umaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Collado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Palencia in the 88th minute of play forced Comberton's goalkeeper Gilberto Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amilcar Umaña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis Bautista's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A collision led to Botley FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hector Cerna hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Efrain Collado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amilcar Umaña. Botley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Collado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Comberton's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
