After 3 played minutes Radlett got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Rodriguez. The Radlett fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Radlett's Avilio Moreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 16 minutes, Avilio Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radlett's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avilio Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Januario Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Orobio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Llorente having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Botello in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Llorente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Isaac Alas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Radlett's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clevedon the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Avilio Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Radlett's supporters rose to their feet, but Avilio Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Del Cid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Del Cid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januario Brizuela in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Clevedon booed when Radlett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zelvin Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Januario Brizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clevedon's Roberto Del Cid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Clevedon from getting a goal against them. William Botello struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alfredo Llorente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clevedon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Misael Flores during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Clevedon getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Misael Flores hit a great ball.
