Samoa United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maidenhead City the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Samoa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efren Costas to maneuver through the defense. Rony Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Daniel Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Berrueta in the 17th minute of play. Christian Mena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samoa United's Efrain Uranga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Cortez in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Samoa United's Will Vasquez got a free kick in the 24th minute. Franklin Berrueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rony Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a left leg Efrain Uranga saved Samoa United from getting behind. Orlando Tobar struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Daniel Sosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samoa United. When Orlando Tobar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Samoa United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Tobar couldn't finish the play. Samoa United's Efrain Uranga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Samoa United from getting a goal against them. Christian Mena struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Efrain Uranga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maidenhead City. With an all-out effort, Maidenhead City's Efrain Uranga threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rony Cortez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Samoa United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maidenhead City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
