Spectators: 6791 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Cerna got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Fornos having to interfere. Melksham AFC's Patricio Fornos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Quijada in the 4th minute of play. Nelson Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Umaña in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Melksham AFC's zone, Daniel Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Fornos came out of the goal and Daniel Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Cerna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Stockbridge's Nelson Zapata got control of the ball when Emiliano Umaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Fornos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Baptista in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Melksham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Félix Galdamez. 19 minutes into the match, Melksham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Baptista came free, but Patricio Fornos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cerna in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Zapata saved Stockbridge from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Stockbridge's Will Reyes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Emiliano Umaña struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Nelson Zapata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melksham AFC. Stockbridge's Nelson Zapata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Stockbridge from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Cerna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nelson Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Melksham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Baptista came free, but Patricio Fornos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Félix Quijada came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Stockbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Félix Quijada couldn't finish the play. Daniel Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Melksham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Quijada came free, but Patricio Fornos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Félix Quijada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, Melksham AFC's Daniel Cerna made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Zapata was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Melksham AFC booed when Stockbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 minutes, Alejandro Parada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melksham AFC and the Stockbridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Emiliano Umaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
