An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Torres in the 3rd minute of play forced Westcliff on Sea AFC's goalkeeper Sarbelio Alvarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, one of Parbold FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parbold FC. Will Alas shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Parbold FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Christian Murgas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Parbold FC's zone, Edgardo Pérez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Sanchez came out of the goal and Edgardo Pérez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarbelio Alvarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Sanchez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Uranga's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jonathan Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parbold FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarbelio Alvarado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Westcliff on Sea AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Gabriel Torres scored to the left of an out of position Sarbelio Alvarado, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Fuentes got free with Sarbelio Alvarado in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Parbold FC's Francisco Díaz got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes, Westcliff on Sea AFC's Will Alas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Sanchez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Westcliff on Sea AFC reached it. Jonathan Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarbelio Alvarado having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Westcliff on Sea AFC's Arturo Uranga got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Arturo Uranga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Pérez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. David Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Uranga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg David Sanchez managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Westcliff on Sea AFC's Edgardo Pérez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Westcliff on Sea AFC defense, Elias Sigaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarbelio Alvarado. The Westcliff on Sea AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarbelio Alvarado should have stopped the shot. Sarbelio Alvarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Torres in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Parbold FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Medrano. After 88 minutes, Selvin Bermudez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parbold FC and the Westcliff on Sea AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Parbold FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selvin Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes Primitivo Guardado managed to get himself in a good position for a goal as Westcliff on Sea AFC's supporters held their thumbs. Primitivo Guardado was, after a quick turn, in perfect balance and slotted the ball in at the right post. The score was now 2-2. Arturo Uranga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Sanchez having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
