Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Pinho got free with Danilo Corrales in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dagoberto Renderos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Corrales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Sigaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Renderos having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match Carlos Olmedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Renderos skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Chapecoense's Salvador Paz got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gilberto Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Danilo Corrales made a huge save. Eston's Dagoberto Renderos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Cortez in the 31st minute of play. Dagoberto Renderos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Paz in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th play minute Gilberto Pinho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Danilo Corrales. 1-1. 39 minutes into the game, Shawn Granados cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Danilo Corrales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chapecoense's zone, Alvaro Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Corrales came out of the goal and Alvaro Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Corrales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Arturo Cortez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dagoberto Renderos, 3-2. Thanks to some nice moves Salvador Paz could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Dagoberto Renderos however easily saved by the left post. Gilberto Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Danilo Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chapecoense made a substitution. Diego Salazar replaced Arnoldo Fuentes. Chapecoense's Arturo Cortez suffered a sore foot after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Odir Espindola charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odir Espindola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Eston:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chapecoense:s goal. Jairo Pineda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dagoberto Renderos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Julio Sigaran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eston and the Chapecoense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Eston got a freekick which was hit by Julio Sigaran. Salvador Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eston's Dagoberto Renderos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Pineda in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Pineda in the 86th minute of play forced Eston's goalkeeper Dagoberto Renderos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Chapecoense got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Olmedo. In the 96th minute, Chapecoense's Jairo Pineda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dagoberto Renderos. Dagoberto Renderos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
