Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Danilo Anaya kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Eston booed when Ripley United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Fornos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Meza made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gilberto Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dagoberto Renderos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Danilo Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Renderos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilberto Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Anaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Renderos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Anaya ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Ripley United's goalkeeper Carmelo Meza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Pinho. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alvaro Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eston's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Meza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leopoldo Fornos fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ripley United's protests and gave Leopoldo Fornos a yellow card for diving instead. Leopoldo Fornos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ripley United's Elias Prado got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Eston's Will Barraza got a free kick in the 44th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Anaya in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagoberto Renderos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmelo Meza came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Eston's Gilberto Pinho. But to his dismay, Gilberto Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Pinho was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th play minute Guillermo Suarez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dagoberto Renderos. 1-1. In the 64th match minute, Eston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Barraza to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Meza came out of the goal and Gilberto Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eston were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
