Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Mario Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Orellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Corpeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avilio Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Victorino Corpeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avilio Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursley's attack was well implemented in the 20th minute, but when Fidel Pinho was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience was convinced that Fidel Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Orellana was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Dursley:s Victorino Corpeño showed great skill when he stopped Sarbelio Suarez:s penalty. Victorino Corpeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Chavez in the 28th minute of play. Mario Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jorge Orellana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Yasir Calderon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dursley's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasir Calderon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Orellana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Shrewsbury's Jorge Orellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Hinguanzo in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Shrewsbury got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Hernández. Mario Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute, Mario Sandoval made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Orellana. Shrewsbury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Avilio Figueroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Corpeño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Avilio Figueroa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Shrewsbury getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Edgardo Hernández hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Sandoval in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Orellana saved Shrewsbury from getting behind. When Mario Sandoval came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Dursley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Sandoval couldn't finish the play. Jorge Orellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Sandoval in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dursley's zone, Avilio Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Corpeño came out of the goal and Avilio Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Orellana having to interfere. Ernesto Magaña struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jorge Orellana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dursley. Marcos Chavez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victorino Corpeño came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Chavez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 80th minute. Ernesto Magaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Dursley's goalkeeper Victorino Corpeño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avilio Figueroa. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dursley players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
