After a defensive mix-up in Dursley's zone, Januario Gallardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Corpeño came out of the goal and Januario Gallardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 played minutes Green Stars FC got a freekick which was hit by Benji Gutierrez. Januario Gallardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Corpeño having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Dursley's goalkeeper Victorino Corpeño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Januario Gallardo. Nelson Arango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Sandoval in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dursley's Salvador Llorente got a free kick in the 24th minute. Victorino Corpeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Januario Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Green Stars FC's Januario Gallardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Corpeño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Januario Gallardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victorino Corpeño. The goal made the score 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Januario Gallardo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Corpeño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Magaña's late challenge caught a Green Stars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Magaña helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dursley getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ernesto Magaña hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Januario Gallardo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Corpeño saved Dursley from getting behind. Fidel Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Arango having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Fidel Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Fidel Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Januario Gallardo scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Corpeño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute Fidel Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Arango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Mario Sandoval made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Green Stars FC's Nelson Arango tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Ulloa in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Corpeño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victorino Corpeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Quintanilla in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Felipe Sanchez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Corpeño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dursley's Victorino Corpeño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Januario Gallardo in the 92nd minute of play. Januario Gallardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Corpeño having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dursley players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Green Stars FC.
