Augusto Hurtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januario Gallardo in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Partington FC's zone, Adolfo Villacorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Hurtado came out of the goal and Adolfo Villacorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Augusto Hurtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Quintanilla in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Victorino Quintanilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augusto Hurtado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Green Stars FC's Jhonnatan Rivera got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cristian Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. The supporters of Partington FC booed when Green Stars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jhonnatan Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Green Stars FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Partington FC.
