After 6 played minutes Herne Bay City got a freekick which was hit by Yasir Quintanilla. Armando Bustamante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Gongolewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Brizuela in the 9th minute of play forced Real Maya's goalkeeper Jonathan Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Maya's Jonathan Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Henriquez in the 10th minute of play. Maksymilian Gongolewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maksymilian Gongolewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Armando Bustamante made a huge save. Alonso Villanueva hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Paolo Brizuela came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Herne Bay City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Brizuela couldn't finish the play. Edgar Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bustamante having to interfere. Eraldo Henriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Herne Bay City's Paolo Brizuela in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Maya's goalie prevented a goal. Arturo Fornos's late challenge caught a Herne Bay City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Fornos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Real Maya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Fornos to maneuver through the defense. Maksymilian Gongolewicz in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Bustamante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Armando Bustamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Benavides in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Herne Bay City getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Allan Gallegos hit a great ball. Armando Bustamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Mora in the 43rd minute of play. Ernesto Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Efrain Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Maksymilian Gongolewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Bustamante, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eraldo Henriquez made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maksymilian Gongolewicz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bustamante saved Herne Bay City from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Herne Bay City got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Pinho. Maksymilian Gongolewicz took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Bustamante. Armando Bustamante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Herne Bay City's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Mora came free, but Armando Bustamante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Bustamante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maksymilian Gongolewicz's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Armando Bustamante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Gongolewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Efrain Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herne Bay City's goalkeeper Armando Bustamante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Maksymilian Gongolewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Bustamante was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 85th minute, Maksymilian Gongolewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Maya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Eraldo Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Brizuela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Herne Bay City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Real Maya fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Real Maya's Maksymilian Gongolewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Real Maya were the better team. Real Maya's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
