But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Zelaya couldn't finish the play. In the 35thth minute of the game Victorino Uranga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burgess Hill City's Alexander Parada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Jhonnatan Batres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burgess Hill City and the Long Eaton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Burgess Hill City got a freekick which was hit by Jhonnatan Batres. In the 36th minute, Victorino Uranga made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Parada. Burgess Hill City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Giovani Escobars short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Ricardo Ochoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Giovani Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ricardo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Giovani Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eraldo Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ricardo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Uranga struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Alexander Parada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Eaton. In the 80th minute Marvin Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Parada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Burgess Hill City's Alexander Parada got control of the ball when Victorino Uranga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Long Eaton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Monzon to maneuver through the defense. Burgess Hill City's Giovani Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Long Eaton walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
