Odontologos FC's Erick Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Ulloa in the 12th minute of play. Dennys Henriquez's late challenge caught a Amberley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Ulloa in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erick Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Ulloa in the 41st minute of play forced Odontologos FC's goalkeeper Erick Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avilio Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erick Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhonnatan Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustin Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alvaro Galeas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Pacheco in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Galeas saved Amberley from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Amberley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Salamanca to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Odontologos FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Avilio Sanchez hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Odontologos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Ulloa came free, but Erick Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Amberley's Erick Moreira threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Max Salazar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
