The Odontologos FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Odontologos FC's Agustin Pacheco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricardo Ochoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Odontologos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Odontologos FC booed when Long Eaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Padilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avilio Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovani Monzon during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giovani Monzon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Odontologos FC's Nelson Alfaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Odir Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erick Moreira having to interfere. Erick Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Uranga went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Long Eaton got a freekick which was hit by Rony Padilla.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Pacheco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Uranga in the 87th minute of play forced Odontologos FC's goalkeeper Erick Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Odontologos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
