Gilberto Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Del Carmen in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Del Carmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Daniel Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boston and the Stamford City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilberto Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Del Carmen in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Victorino Zepeda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Gilberto Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Osorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Castaneda in the 96th minute. The Stamford City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boston's performance. The match ended with a win for Boston.
