Kimpton's Josue Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Libardo Vasquez during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Milton Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Alvarado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milton Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Cheadle City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kimpton from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
