Cheadle City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston the free kick. In the 4th minute, Jhalmar Rosales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Selvin Coreas came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Boston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selvin Coreas couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes, Lorenzo Muñoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheadle City and the Boston players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cheadle City's Lorenzo Muñoz got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lorenzo Alvarenga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Henry Castaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Selvin Coreas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Dubon in the 26th minute of play. Raúl Campos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Mariano Dubon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes Boston got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Barraza. When Pablo Alvarado, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gilberto Machado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Selvin Coreas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alexander Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gilberto Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Dubon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alexander Fernandez stood somewhat misplaced when Erick Zapata came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute.

Pablo Alvarado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gilberto Machado made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Castaneda in the 56th minute of play forced Cheadle City's goalkeeper Alexander Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Machado was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Mariano Dubon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Dubon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Selvin Coreas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boston's supporters rose to their feet, but Selvin Coreas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mariano Dubon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheadle City's Alexander Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selvin Coreas in the 97th minute of play. The Boston supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cheadle City's performance. The match ended with a win for Cheadle City.
