Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Gilberto Del Carmen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josue Castro in the 4th minute of play forced Stamford City's goalkeeper Roberto Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes Stamford City got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Barraza. Kimpton's Josue Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Stamford City's Gilberto Del Carmen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Milton Guerrero. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Benji Valenzuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Milton Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Zapata in the 19th minute of the match. Milton Guerrero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rafael Portillo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Paz during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kimpton's Pedro Paz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Victorino Zepeda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Libardo Vasquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benji Valenzuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Roberto Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Coreas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Roberto Osorio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Kimpton's Benji Valenzuela. But to his dismay, Benji Valenzuela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Roberto Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josue Castro in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josue Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Milton Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Zepeda's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 66th minute, Benji Valenzuela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Osorio. The goal made the score 2-2. Gilberto Del Carmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Guerrero having to interfere. Libardo Vasquez hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Gilberto Del Carmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victorino Zepeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benji Valenzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Osorio having to interfere. Stamford City's Roberto Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Castro in the 96th minute of play.
