Sarbelio Quijada hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes, Real Ocotopeque's Alexis Castaneda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Medina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Ocotopeque reached it. Jonathan Giron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafael Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Castaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Blackheath booed when Real Ocotopeque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Bentos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Giron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Honorato Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Giron received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Honorato Umea came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Giron slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Øystein Sørnes in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Medina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 32 minutes, Rafael Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ocotopeque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Øystein Sørnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mario Medina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Medina having to interfere. Mario Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Øystein Sørnes in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Barreto to make the kick off. With his leg Mario Medina managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Real Ocotopeque's Øystein Sørnes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the match, Rafael Barreto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mario Medina, 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Real Ocotopeque's Rafael Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Medina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Øystein Sørnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mario Medina made a huge save. With a little luck, Blackheath's Mario Medina got control of the ball when Øystein Sørnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Øystein Sørnes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Blackheath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Corrales to maneuver through the defense. Real Ocotopeque's Richard Uranga was substituted for Eliseo Bautista. After 73 played minutes Blackheath got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Corrales. 76 minutes into the match, Real Ocotopeque's goal looked a bit too open when David Lima came free, but Honorato Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blackheath's Gabriel Peredes got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rafael Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Real Ocotopeque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Barreto couldn't finish the play. Real Ocotopeque made a substitution. Emir Gülle replaced Rafael Barreto. Honorato Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Giron in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Blackheath's Jonathan Giron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Umea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. 89 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Real Ocotopeque's Øystein Sørnes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Emir Gülle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mario Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Real Ocotopeque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Guzman to maneuver through the defense. Real Ocotopeque's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
