Real Ocotopeque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Øystein Sørnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bexleyheath AFC's Odir Castillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Barreto in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute Øystein Sørnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odir Castillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odir Castillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Øystein Sørnes went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Rafael Barreto made the kick off in the second half. When Øystein Sørnes came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Real Ocotopeque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Øystein Sørnes couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Barreto in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odir Castillo saved Bexleyheath AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Molina in the 64th minute of play forced Real Ocotopeque's goalkeeper Honorato Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bexleyheath AFC's Diego Galdamez got a free kick in the 65th minute. The excitement rose when Real Ocotopeque's Alexis Castaneda after 67 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bexleyheath AFC's goalkeeper to hold. The goalkeeper, Odir Castillo, was totally fooled by Real Ocotopeque's Alexis Castaneda, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 92nd minute, Emir Gülle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Odir Castillo. The goal made the score 0-6. Odir Castillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emir Gülle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Øystein Sørnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute Emir Gülle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odir Castillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Posadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Ocotopeque's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
