Mario Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blackheath's Mario Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Zelaya in the 16th minute of play. David Lima scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eraldo Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Galeas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Josue Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Zelaya in the 33rd minute of play forced Blackheath's goalkeeper Mario Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Blackheath defense, Josue Botello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Medina. The Blackheath fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Medina should have stopped the shot. Shawn Posadas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Franklin Espindola fired a really elegant long shot, but Eraldo Santana threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. David Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Santana having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Zelaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Blackheath got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Corrales. David Lima scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eraldo Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josue Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Peredes charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Peredes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Blackheath got a freekick which was hit by Jose Peredes. After 69 played minutes Ladislao Zelaya rounded Blackheath's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Ladislao Zelaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mario Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josue Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mario Medina made a huge save. When Jaime Corrales fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blackheath's protests and gave Jaime Corrales a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Blackheath's Jaime Corrales got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Ladislao Zelaya fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Blackheath's Mario Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Zelaya in the 81st minute of play. If Ladislao Zelaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Zelaya in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Medina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Herne Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Giron came free, but Eraldo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Herne Bay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Galeas. Eraldo Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lima in the 94th minute of play. Blackheath's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
