Rudy Brizuela's late challenge caught a Fleet FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudy Brizuela helped the player get up and apologised. Rudy Brizuela hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Leonel Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Deris Bustamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deris Bustamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Aguilar in the 38th minute of the match. Leonel Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Aguilar having to interfere. When Miguel Chavez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Quinton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Chavez couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Benjamín Escobar made the kick off in the second half. Rudy Brizuela was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Quinton City getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rudy Brizuela hit a great ball. If Leonel Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Chavez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deris Bustamante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Chavez ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Contrera during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
