Alexander Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Barrera in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Quinton City's Alfredo Aguilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selvin Viscarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, St Neots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Vasquez to maneuver through the defense. When Quinton City's Miguel Chavez in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St Neots's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Aguilar was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Abraham Muñoz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abraham Muñoz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Quinton City booed when St Neots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinton City's Alfredo Aguilar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Selvin Viscarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When David Vasquez fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St Neots's protests and gave David Vasquez a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Quinton City got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Chavez. In the 44th minute, Miguel Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Chavez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selvin Viscarra having to interfere. Miguel Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Barrera to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, St Neots's David Vasquez got a free kick in the 58th minute. Miguel Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Abraham Muñoz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the St Neots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Muñoz couldn't finish the play. Alexander Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Barrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 80 minutes in the game, Alfredo Aguilar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Selvin Viscarra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Brizuela in the 87th minute of play forced St Neots's goalkeeper Selvin Viscarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Quinton City's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Muñoz came free, but Alexander Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The St Neots support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
